In the small town of Zaña, Peru, youth who identify as Afroperuvian are faced with navigating their cultural identity in relation to their physical appearance. Through the experimental use of ethnofiction, this film highlights the voices of youth in the town to explore what it means to be Afroperuvian and who can belong to, and identify with, this category.
